This is a silkscreen art print I produced for Zona Rosa Caffe’s 18th Annual Dia de los Muertos Event (2012) in Pasadena, California. Every year the coffee shop offers students from the GRFX program at Pasadena City College a space in their upstairs gallery to display their own original Day of the Dead themed art prints. The students are also allowed to sell their prints in front of the shop during the celebration at the Pasadena Playhouse nextdoor.
The 1st edition of my print sold out shortly after the celebration. I produced a 2nd edition of the print for the next year's event (2013) which is now also sold out.
